We may collect this information through cookies, pixels, tags, logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies. The website does not currently present a cookie consent banner, and analytics and similar cookies are set when you visit. We use these cookies to understand website usage and improve the Services, not for targeted advertising. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers allow you to delete cookies already stored. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functions. If we introduce a consent tool or otherwise change these practices, we will update this Policy.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate business interests, as appropriate.
3. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers: Companies that support website hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, email, communications, scheduling, cybersecurity, professional services, and other business operations.
- Technology providers and business partners: When you ask us to obtain information, coordinate an evaluation, facilitate an introduction, request a proposal, or otherwise involve a provider or partner in your project. We will disclose information reasonably necessary for that purpose.
- Professional advisers: Attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and other advisers who assist our business.
- Authorities and other parties for legal reasons: When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; enforce agreements; protect rights, safety, or property; or investigate suspected wrongdoing.

- Other parties: At your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected.
MALA does not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly use or disclose personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required choices before applying the change.
4. Vendor-Sponsored Business Model
MALA provides technology advisory and brokerage services. Clients generally do not pay MALA directly for these advisory services. MALA may receive compensation from participating technology providers if a client chooses to purchase a solution. This compensation model does not authorize a provider to use personal information for unrelated purposes, and providers that independently control personal information are responsible for their own privacy practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain business and transaction records, manage relationships, comply with legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information, the relationship, and applicable obligations. We may retain deidentified or aggregated information where permitted by law.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using appropriate care when transmitting information online.
7. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access that information.
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
- Opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling activities, if applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal our decision concerning a privacy request.
- Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, use the contact information in Section 13 and clearly describe your request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. If we deny a request, you may appeal by contacting us and writing "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.
These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request when permitted or required by law, including when an exemption applies.
Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications related to an active business relationship, requested information, transactions, security, or legal notices.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
As described in Section 3, MALA does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such activity to opt out of. The website does not currently detect or respond to browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, or to "Do Not Track" signals, for which there is no uniform industry standard. You can limit analytics and similar cookies through your browser settings, or contact us using the information in Section 13 and we will act on your request. We will update this Policy if these practices change.
8. Information About Children
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
9. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, social networks, providers, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review the privacy notice of any third party before providing information.
10. Information Processed for Clients
In some engagements, MALA may process information on behalf of a business client. In those circumstances, the client may control the information and its privacy practices. Requests concerning information controlled by a client should be directed to that client. We will assist the client as required by applicable law or contract.
11. International Visitors
MALA is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will post the revised version on the website and update the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Policy is subject to the revised Policy.
