Tools / Three Ways to Buy
How we get paid · Cost of a decision
Compare running the evaluation yourself, hiring a consultant, and working with MALA, using your own project, team and contract value.
Side by side
Same project, same contract value, three ways to run it.
How MALA is paid
MALA is compensated by the provider you select, through MALA's relationship with that provider. Clients pay no direct fee for standard advisory and brokerage services, and you are never invoiced by MALA.
Providers within each category have similar compensation models, so MALA's compensation does not meaningfully change based on which one you choose.
You are never required to choose a participating provider. You can take the assessment, benchmarks and recommendation and go a different direction. If you don't move forward, no one pays MALA.
Fair questions
How are you paid?
By the provider you select, after you move forward with a participating provider. No direct client fee.
Are you paid the same across providers in this category?
Providers in the same category compensate on similar models, so the amount is similar whichever qualified provider you select.
Will you show me providers you don't work with?
You are never required to select a participating provider. You can take our assessment, benchmarks and recommendation to any provider you choose. Ask us on the call how your shortlist was built.
Who owns the relationship after signature?
You contract with the provider and MALA never invoices you. MALA stays through contracting, implementation oversight and the renewal calendar afterwards.
What happens if we don't buy anything?
No one pays MALA. That is a real outcome and it happens.
